Eric Morris Eskenazi

I grew up in Seal Beach, a small coastal town in Orange County, California. While I was enrolled at the Orange County High School of the Arts' as a Technical Theater major, I had an apprenticeship with the Joffrey Ballet's Dimensions in Dance program in Los Angeles from 1989 through 1991. In addition, I received an honorable mention from the Princeton University Poetry Contest as well as an academic award for my creative writing.

I moved to New York City in 1991 to begin my undergraduate studies at NYU. I majored in Dramatic Writing from Tisch School of the Arts and minored in Art History.  During my tenure at NYU, I interned at Killer Films and at Fangoria magazine. Post-college, I've freelanced on independent and studio films, worked at Miramax Films; and assisted with the editing of several reality shows.

Within the past decade, I have written, produced and directed numerous shorts, documentaries and independent feature projects. My video works have screened at The Anthology Film Archives, Brooklyn Academy of Music and film festivals in Canada, Norway and the US. Some of them are available as Video On Demand titles on Amazon.
